Planning a vacation don’t go home without a wine tasting
Which to choose and does it suit your palette
Italy produce some of the finest wine in the world, one in particular can be found in Tuscany, the most famous of all Chianti, the bottle a little different than the one found all over the world, the straw bound bottle, that’s the one that gathers dust with a half burnt candle in the top, times have change and now it gains a lot more respect and producers are taking the production of this grape product very seriously
But do the experts really know what they’re talking about?
We could talk and debate about for hours and the experts do have merit on what they say about this subject ,my advice is if its pleasing to your taste then it’s the right one for you and don’t listen to much about what should be drank with food its only a guide line that may help in choosing,
Listed below a few we consider reasonably priced, though cost varies from restaurants, but as I said it’s your taste that counts not ours and maybe not for your pallete
Conti di Buscareto Lacrima di Morro d'Alba
Villa Pigna Rosso Piceno
Da Vinci Chianti 2003
Toscolo Chianti 2001
Di Leonardo Friuli Grave Vigne da Lis Maris 2006
Melini Isassi Chianti Classico 1999
Italian wines
If a vintner has taken time making and bottling his product then give it a try, but be prepared there are a lot of wines that don’t agree with your palette you know what they say, one mans meat is another mans poison?.. why am I speaking about meat? Ok you get what I’m trying to say; it’s your choice what to drink, and don’t take it to seriously what some so called experts tell you what you should drink, you never know you may one day become an authority on wine and tell us what to drink at the dinner table, ? Is there an oxymoron somewhere in this paragraph?

Drinking too much alcohol……why you shouldn’t
There is a theory that the consumption of too much alcohol can be related to migraines and also hangovers. In my case it’s the hangover, one cure is simply stop drinking. Everyone has there own way of dealing with the revenge of the grape. My own cure is an aspirin, a quite room and for the nagging pain I give the keys of my new car to the wife and send her shopping 300 miles away. And severe nagging pain 1,200 miles away should do the trick…
Vera I’m only joking have you seen my car keys? Where are you taking that suitcase and what are the kids and your mother doing in the car?
On this page there are several advertisements for websites who specialise in vineyard tours and tasting programs throughout Italy
Where you will get the chance to learn about and how to educate your pallet on this national beverage
