San Benedetto Del Tronto... the Italian Riviera with Warm Breeze and Golden Sands
San Benedetto Del Tronto in Marche, Italy must be one of the supreme beach locations on the Adriatic Coast with sandy beaches, warm sea and maybe the finest palm lined promenade to be found.
Palms are everywhere here - an estimated 7000! See for yourself in the photo. All along restaurants and cafes line the promenade with various menus to suit all. At reasonable cost considering this is a vacation area and prices tend to be higher.
To gain access to the beach there is a small charge which is normal through Italy but you can find free beach areas.
Getting in and out of San Benedetto Del Tronto is trouble free with an adequate motorway system.
Parking along the promenade is quite easy. Just park then obtain a ticket from a nearby stall or you can pay at one of the restaurants or cafes. Daily and weekly cards are available but remember to scratch out the dates or there’s a parking fine on the way.
It’s also possible to find private parking where your car is under the watchful eye of an attendant. No long walks back to your vehicle with sand in your shoes.

What we have seen of the town itself is very nice but unfortunately we never got to stay the night here. We did get to look round shops and admire the centre.
What we heard from other holiday makers was that, it has an excellent night scene for the young and something, for those who like it a little quieter. Vacation next year we are planning to spend one or two nights here…
I don’t think you will find it a disappointment if it’s a sandy beach, warm sea and beautiful promenade you’re looking for. This is the right place to come to.
Take a look at the photos and see what we mean about this incredible vacation area on the Adriatic Coast!
